Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky

Where: Magic Kingdom Park

When: July 3rd & 4th, 2017 at 9 pm

Illuminations: Reflections of Earth

This is a nightly favorite at Epcot. However, on July 4th the show will end with a special laser light finale that celebrates America.

Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular

This show is not exactly themed to Independence Day but it is a great icon of American culture.

Where: Disney’s Hollywood Studios

When: 9:30 pm every night

Rivers of Light 

This show is the newest addition to Disney’s nighttime shows. It doesn’t have fireworks but you can count on light, water, and fire to blow your mind!!

Where: Disney’s Animal Kingdom

When: Two shows nightly at 9:15 and 10:30 pm

Other Independence Day Entertainment

  • Voices of Liberty, an a Cappella group,  will perform traditional Americana tunes during a Fourth of July Concert on the American Gardens Theatre stage at 5:30, 6:45, and 8 pm. American Music Machine will perform pop hits at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 and 3:50 pm
  • Classic Disney characters will be dressed up to celebrate America’s birthday at the Amercian Adventure Pavillion at Epcot.
  • The Muppets Present…A Great Moment in History: Miss Piggy, Kermit, Fozzy Bear and others will perform famous moments in American history. Performed daily, see your Times Guide, at Liberty Square in the Magic Kingdom.
  • Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is hosting an All-American 4th of July cookout from 7-8:30 pm. The feast includes grilled steak, shrimp, hotdogs, baked beans, sides, specialty drinks, beer, and wine. There will be a live DJ and crafts for the kids. After dinner, you can head to the Grand Floridian Marina for dessert and a view of Magic Kingdoms July 4th fireworks. The cost is $120 per adult plus tax, gratuity is included; $59 per child ages 3-11. For reservations call 407-WDW-DINE.
